Prior to joining the Department in January 2014, Chris was a level 2 Humane Officer for San Gabriel Valley Humane Society and an Animal Control Officer for Monterey Park Police Department. Chris has worked in the animal welfare industry for over 19 years and obtained his Associates Degree in Business Administration during that time.

Chris’ passion for care for all animals has no boundaries. He believes quality of care, showcasing our care centers as a resource to the community and building trusting relationships with our communities will support services for years to come.

Chris enjoys spending time with his family, attending Los Angeles Dodgers, and Los Angeles Kings sporting events. He has a 4-year-old German Shepherd name “Storm” which he loves going on long runs with. Along with working alongside animals and a great staff, he is a self-taught pastry chef.
